We recognise the importance of transparent reporting. This year we drafted our inaugural sustainability report, by leveraging strong sustainability credentials of the businesses through our materiality lens. We put structures in place for robust sustainability governance and ownership, and solidified our decarbonisation plans.

Health and safety

We are committed to protecting our employees and contractors from injury and harm, focusing on continuous improvement to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all and maintain a market leading accident frequency rate (AFR).

Product safety and quality

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards in product safety and quality to ensure the safety of end users and maintain the trust of our customers.

Climate change

We are committed to avoiding dangerous climate change by cutting our emissions in line with the best science, to achieve Net Zero 2050, with ambitious absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 2030 reduction targets.

Diversity, equity & inclusion

We are committed to being a diverse, equitable and inclusive organisation and are setting our tone from the top with clear business unit goals.

  1. 40% of the Board are women

  2. At least one of the senior Board positions (Chair, CEO, CFO or SID) is a  woman

We are committed to high standards of sourcing in a complex, global supply chain, meeting the expectations of customers and employees.

In 2024, we will conduct an operational and supply chain risk assessment for both human rights and resource sustainability.

Maintain zero substances classified as “conflict minerals” knowingly sourced

We have established a Group Sustainability Committee, chaired by our Chief Executive, to oversee all our activity. Membership of this Committee includes the Chief Executives of all our Business Units, as well as various specialists, making it an ideal forum to monitor both business performance and share best practice and ideas. To ensure consistency across our operations, we developed a comprehensive set of policies and processes for all our ESG issues. The Board is updated quarterly on our sustainability progress.
